8 2013 Aug 11 Red-tailed Hawk*

juvenile hawk - these hawks are not easy to find, once you find them they usually don't stick around. This one was so intent on catching a lunch, it just ignored me. Ooops...I have been informed by my friend and bird expert Gus Yaki that this hawk is probably a Juvenile Red-tailed Hawk. Sorry for the wrond ID on this hawk...I still have lots to learn. :)
