9 2012 Sept 22 Time Lapse Photo's Kananaskis River

this is Kananaskis River and everyday the open the dam gate and let the water flow down the river....at night they close it back up and the river turns into a trickling stream.....once the gates are open it takes about 5 minutes for the water to go from trickling stream to a raging white water river....this is my first attem at capturing the event throug Time Lapse....now I have a better idea how it works I will do it over again much better...<br />
But this will give you an idea how fast the water rises in a 2 minute period...<br />
its great for the kayakers...
